Houston, TX September 4, 2020: Cypress Creek EMS (CCEMS) board of directors has voted Wren Nealy Jr. as the chief executive officer of CCEMS. Wren Nealy Jr. is a paramedic and licensed peace officer in the State of Texas.  He has served 28 years as a 911 paramedic, as well as 23 years in law enforcement with 18 years experience in SWAT operations.

“Wren Nealy has served in almost every capacity at CCEMS.  He understands the operation from the inside out and will lead us in our new path at CCEMS.  We are so lucky to have him,” says Glen Henning , current board president.

In his career Wren Nealy Jr. has managed operations, communications, logistics, information technology and tactical operations. Nealy has also developed numerous training programs for public safety personnel integrating EMS, Fire, and law enforcement to train and work together for improved response capabilities and patient outcomes. Wren Nealy Jr. is currently the Vice-Chair of the Emergency Services Sector Coordinating Council at U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He has leadership experience in non-profit associations serving as a board member of the International Association of EMS Chiefs, International Public Safety Association, and International Police Mountain Bike Association.

“I am honored to serve CCEMS as CEO and feel encouraged and supported by our employees and the community particularly since ESD 11 decided to terminate our contract in a year,” says Wren Nealy, Jr.   “We have recieved many messages of support from the community concerned about losing CCEMS, apparently our reputation as a gold standard provider of emergency care is well known.”
