Cypress Creek EMS Tops Benchmark in Nationwide Patient Satisfaction Survey
CCEMS Ranks in Top Ten 911 Services in the Nation
Houston, TX February 3, 2021: In a recent nationwide survey by EMS Survey Team, Cypress Creek EMS (CCEMS) is named as the sixth ranked EMS service for comparably sized companies in the system, up from a ranking of seventh last survey period for patient satisfaction.
The EMS Survey Team questioned 480 CCEMS patients who received CCEMS services from January 1 to December 31, 2020. The survey asked patients to review CCEMS services that include dispatcher expertise, the timeliness of the ambulance arrival, how well the staff worked together to help patients, care and concern shown by medics who arrived, and comfort of the ride to the hospital among others.
“Ninety nine percent of all responses to questions asked of CCEMS patients were positive during inarguably the toughest year for emergency medicine in history, that says a lot,” notes Wren Nealy Jr., chief executive officer for Cypress Creek EMS. “Our highest scores were for the degree to which the medic took the problems seriously and the skill and care shown by the medics who arrived with the ambulance. CCEMS Red Shirts faced more adversity last year than ever before and according to our patients, exceeded our own high standard of excellence every time. We couldn’t be prouder.”
Med Star Mobile Healthcare Strategic Integration Officer Matt Zavadsky explains why this EMS Survey Team report is critical to the industry. “Externally conducted patient experience surveys such as the survey available through the EMS Survey Team will be invaluable for our profession to demonstrate that the patients we serve are satisfied with the services we deliver to them.”
The EMS Survey Team surveyed 76,680 EMS patients from 170 EMS transport services nationwide to compile its survey. The EMS Survey Team is the market leader in the collection and measurement of the quality of both EMS patient experience and employee engagement. The EMS Survey Team enables EMS agencies to analyze patient experiences by measuring satisfaction, and benchmarking services against other providers in the industry.
