About CCEMS

A Legacy of Excellence

CREEK Team

When Cypress Creek EMS (CCEMS) was first established in 1975, the region’s main thoroughfare, FM 1960, was a poorly maintained, two-lane asphalt road, offering mostly four-way stop signs at its few major intersections. However, in 1973 the area was blessed with a promising new medical facility, the Houston Northwest Medical Center.

After a dedicated husband and community leader lost his life to a heart attack because there was no emergency medical team to come to his aid, a group of concerned citizens banded together and founded CCEMS in July of 1975. Convinced this misfortune could be avoided by prompt treatment, CCEMS was born as an organization dedicated to providing 24-hour skilled emergency medical care to the FM 1960 community.

For over 46 years, CCEMS has saved countless lives and provided exceptional emergency care, making our communities a safer place to live.
