Community Medical Courses
Cypress Creek EMS has provided medical courses within our communities for over forty years, with the goal of preparing members of the public to respond to medical emergencies—whether at home, in the workplace, at church, or even in the woods. Our instructors bring real-world experience as EMTs, paramedics, and nurses to the classroom and use a friendly, hands-on approach to ensure all students leave the course with the knowledge and skills they need to face a potentially life-threatening emergency.
Our public education courses are designed for anyone with limited or no medical training. They are offered in full classroom and blended learning formats, where the student completes an online module followed by hands-on skills training in person. We provide classes open to the public at our education facilities, but we also can bring the classroom to schools, businesses, places of worship, and community groups. Special discount rates are available for group registration, faith-based and community service organizations, and foster parents.
As an American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center, our AHA courses provide a certification card recognized by workplaces or other organizations. Students can be confident that our curriculum meets the latest scientific guidelines for CPR and emergency care.
