Basic Tactical Operational Medical Support Course (BTOMSC)

The March 20th – 26th, 2022 course has been postponed until further notice.

BTOMS Course

The Basic Tactical Operational Medical Support Course (BTOMSC) has built an international reputation for excellence. It attracts Trauma Physicians, Paramedics, EMTs, Firefighters, and Police Officers from all over the world. BTOMSC was featured in the Summer 2019 edition of the Journal of Special Operations Medicine which has granted Cypress Creek EMS special permission to post the article, which can be read by clicking here.

The course is presented by the Cypress Creek EMS Tactical Medic Team in partnership with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies as well as private and not for profit organizations.

The course includes the NAEMT TCCC Certification as it is still the recommended certification for tactical (SWAT) medics.  The NAEMT TECC Certification for civilians can be requested for CLOSED courses (offered to one agency/group).  Additionally, all participants who complete the course will receive the CCEMS Basic Tactical Operational Medical Support course completion certificate.

This event is an accredited educational product, and continuing education credit is available for all disciplines, EMS, (Texas) FIRE, and (Texas) Law Enforcement.  Texas DSHS approved CE is accepted by the National Registry of EMTs.  Also, it is accepted in some states as POST credit.  For FIRE credit, if your state follows the IFSAC model for the Firefighter I & Firefighter II curriculum.
